Review: G.I. JOE: RETALIATION (2013)

Review: OLYMPUS HAS FALLEN (2013)

Okay, I'm a Sparta in the past. I'm still a Sparta now...
Blessed with Antoine Fuqua's taut direction and Gerard Butler's compelling performance, OLYMPUS HAS FALLEN fulfills most of the requirements of an edge-of-the-seat mindless '90s action movie that other like-minded genres have failed recently.

Review: THE CALL (2013)

What? You want my Oscar in exchange of that girl?
A taut, high-concept thriller anchored with solid direction by Brad Anderson and an exciting performance by Halle Berry, but suffers from conventional, yet improbable conclusion.

Review: DJANGO UNCHAINED (2012)

You gotta be kidding me, right? A wanted poster with a stickman drawing?
A hugely entertaining spaghetti western epic filled with gleefully over-the-top violence and great cast, but suffers from slack editing in the middle.
