Ulasan: RUDY HABIBIE (2016)

Bacharuddin Jusuf Habibie atau Rudy Habibie (Reza Rahadian) ialah seorang pelajar genius, atas dorongan ibubapa, dia menumpukan seluruh hidupnya untuk membina sebuah kapal terbang dengan harapan untuk menyatukan kesemua kepulauan Indonesia. Menghadapi cabaran sukar sebagai pelajar di Aachen, German, Rudy bukan sahaja belajar membina pesawat terbang tapi juga belajar tentang erti persahabatan dengan para pelajar lain. Ilona (Chelsea Islan), pelajar keturunan Poland sangat tertarik terhadap semangat dan cita-cita Rudy memperjuangkan pelajar dan masa depan negaranya tetapi adakah Rudy akan meninggalkan segalanya untuk Ilona?

Following the loss of her cancer-stricken mother (Janelle Bailey), med school student Nancy (Blake Lively) is seeking solace by travelling to Mexico in search of her mum's favourite secluded beach. After having a good time catching some waves and even get to know two friendly Mexican surfers, everything seems fine at the beginning. But her surfing trip gradually turns into a nightmare when she finds herself encountering a hungry great white shark, while stranded 200 yards away from the shore.

In this GHOSTBUSTERS reboot, physics professor Erin Gilbert (Kristen Wiig) and paranormal expert Abby Yates (Melissa McCarthy) alongside Abby's nuclear engineer friend Jillian Holtzmann (Kate McKinnon) join forces to establish their own ghost-busting business after being kicked out from their institutions. Then along came Patty Tolan (Leslie Jones), a New York City-savvy subway worker who decides to quit her job and joins them as the new recruit. After gaining fame for successfully catching a ghost in the rock concert, they soon find themselves in the most challenging mission yet: to stop an otherworldly apocalypse that is about to unleash in the city.

Review: COLD WAR 2 寒戰 2 (2016)

Following the events of COLD WAR (2012), the sequel continues with the newly-promoted police commissioner Sean Lau (Aaron Kwok) being threatened by a masked kidnapper to get Joe Lee (Eddie Peng) out of prison in exchange for his wife's safety. After Sean chooses to break the protocol that subsequently goes awry, his questionable leadership quickly brought into attention by the Legislative Council which also includes the independent legislator, Oswald Kan (Chow Yun-Fat). Meanwhile, former deputy commissioner M.B. Lee (Tony Leung Ka-Fai) finds himself back in the game when his son and several other accomplices including ex-cops and high-ranking officials are working together to bring down Lau from his current position.

Review: THREE 三人行 (2016)

Set entirely in the hospital, THREE revolves around three main characters: One is a young neurosurgeon named Tong Qian (Zhao Wei), who's been wrestled guilt over bad medical judgment to her two patients. Another one is Inspector Chen (Louis Koo), a hardened cop who just break the law upon trying to apprehend a wanted criminal. The wanted criminal in question is the third character named Shun (Wallace Chung), a robber who has a bullet lodged in his head. In order to survive, Tong urges him to perform a brain surgery but Shun refuses treatment. Soon, the clock is ticking as Shun patiently awaits his gang members to rescue him while Chen and the rest of the police are on standby for the eventual confrontation.
